Depending on the scope of the repair required, rotor poles can be refurbished in-place on the machine or removed to the workshop.

Repair of rotor poles can include:
1.  Ground wall insulation replacement.
2.  Palm replacement.
3.  Partial turn to turn repair.
4.  Full turn to turn re-insulation.
5.  Reconsolidation onto the pole piece.
6.  Top and bottom cheek replacement.
